Royal Den Hartogh Logistics is a logistics service provider specialised in the transportation of liquid chemicals, gases and dry bulk. It is a growing and informal organisation with over 2,200 employees worldwide. The family owned company was founded over a century ago and now has 50 locations in 27 countries. Den Hartogh has modern equipment, including more than 24,335 tank containers, 5,767 dry bulk containers, 310 tank trailers and 700 trucks.

has since the last couple of years been expanding rapidly, and we strive to continue this journey during the coming years. We are today 60 colleagues and continue to grow. One of our Swedish offices is located in Gothenburg City center and the other one is located in the Gothenburg area, with our own terminal for activities like cleaning, heating, repair, storage and homebase for our drivers.


The Role

We are now looking for a Customer Service Representative to join one of our Account Management team for one of our key customers.  From the moment the customer sends a transport request you take responsibility for the acceptance and execution of the orders, including necessary administration (from order to invoice). You are the logistics specialist who answers all of your customer´s queries, handles compliments and complaints, solves problems, implements new lanes, and executes financial and operational analyses in order to support continuous improvements.


Together with your colleagues, you will provide creative transport solutions, always looking for opportunities to upsell and ensure the customer is fully aware of all products/services. You will be agile, constantly switching between customer service, managing orders, liaising with operations, discussing developments in sales, and working on improvements.

Job requirements

Successful candidates

Will have strong organisational skills, be an excellent communicator and eager to understand all aspects of our business. We are a global company so it is important to be fluent both in swedish & english. As the main point of contact for your customers, you will provide excellent customer service and have the desire to build relationships internally and externally. Furthermore, you will have:

  • a minimum of two years customer service experience in an office based environment, ideally in logistics, 
  • experience of working in a customer facing role
  • an outstanding sense of responsibility, with a pro-active and structured approach to customer centricity
  • attention to detail, the ability to work well under pressure, and able to adapt quickly to market changes - internally and externally, with a willingness to respond rapidly and flexibly to customer demands
  • the desire to build relationships internally and externally
  • willingness to undertake training and development activities
  • an education preferably in international logistics or similar
