The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Tank Team Coordinator to join our team.  Working with pressurised tanks, you will be responsible for:

  • Customer order processing and maintaining timely communication with the customer
  • Close coordination with suppliers to book the appropriate transportation to execute the order
  • Ensuring timely turnaround of the tanks to maximise utilisation
  • Tracking and planning the UK tank drivers to utilise them to full potential for earnings
  • Maintaining service levels for the customer
  • Equipment utilisation
  • Tracking and planning equipment in accordance with specific product, customer and operational requirements
  • Actively working on / contributing to the CPA and P&L for tanks
  • Ensuring seamless implementation of new business
  • Recharge of any additional costs
  • Arranging appropriate tank cleans, repairs and service

Job requirements

Successful candidates will have:

  • Prior experience in tank planning
  • Experience in a customer facing role
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise effectively and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in data entry, documentation and record keeping.
  • Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate with team members, drivers and stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to identify issues, propose solutions and make informed decisions under pressure.
  • Proficiency in using transportation management systems, database software and Microsoft Office suite to support administrative tasks and data analysis.
  • Willingness to adapt to changing priorities, work schedules and support the team during peak periods or unforeseen circumstances.
  • Ability to understand and empathise with the needs and concerns of team members, drivers and stakeholders, fostering a supportive and inclusive work environment.
  • Financial acumen
  • Ability to switch between customer service and operational tasks
