Our workforce consists of more than 2,100 people and our modern equipment includes 23,970 tank containers, 5,791 dry bulk containers and specialised dry bulk trailers, 340 tank trailers and 659 trucks.


The Role

The Modality Planner is responsible for the smooth execution of rail modalities within the supply chain. You will be the central point of contact with internal stakeholders and rail operators to deliver continuous service and improve efficiencies. As the Modality Planner you will pro-actively review supply chain routes and implement sustainable initiatives with the relevant stakeholders and provide guidance and information across teams.

Job requirements

Successful candidates will:

• Have operational knowledge of logistics and supply chains
• Confidently communicate across internal teams to ensure rail volume requirements can be met and ensure information plans are in place to support operational colleagues.
• Demonstrate initiative with the ability to review information, problem solve and implement actions sensitively, in consideration with commercial interests
• Be passionate about continuous improvement and proactively streamline internal processes
• Have meticulous attention to detail and very high-quality standards, the ability to work well under pressure, and able to adapt quickly to market changes  - internally and externally - with a willingness to respond rapidly and flexibly to volume demands
