To further strengthen our footprint in Eastern Europe, we are looking for a Commercial Manager with a decisive and entrepreneurial mindset. Based in Székesfehérvár, you will play a key role in expanding our customer portfolio in Hungary and the surrounding region. You will work closely with our headquarters in the Netherlands to shape and execute commercial strategies.

 

Your role

As Sales Manager CEE (Liquid Food), you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong customer relationships, and translating market needs into tailored service solutions. You will be the face of Den Hartogh in Hungary and Central Eastern Europe, driving growth and representing our values and capabilities. You will report to the Region Director CEE and to the Sales Director in the Netherlands. You work together with Den Hartogh colleagues across departments, business units and countries.

 

What will you do?

  • Manage and grow our Hungarian customer portfolio and expand our presence in Central Eastern Europe;

  • Explore the Liquid Food/Feed market and identify potential customers and business opportunities;

  • Build strong, long-term relationships with both new and existing customers, emphasizing our outside in customer approach;

  • Translate customer needs into creative and actionable service solutions;

  • Monitor market trends, innovations, competition, and regulatory developments;

  • Represent the company at trade fairs and industry events to expand your network;

  • Collaborate with the HQ team in the Netherlands to align on commercial strategies and initiatives;

  • Travel within the CEE region, occasionally to other European countries and to HQ in the Netherlands.

Job requirements

The ideal candidate:

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commercial Economics, Business Administration, and/or Logistics;

  • At least 3 years of experience in Logistics;

  • Strong ability to market our organization and products effectively, a network in the Food industry is a plus;

  • Excellent communication skills, self-driven, customer-oriented, proactive, commercial-minded, and detail-oriented;

  • Fluent in Bulgarian and English (both spoken and written); proficiency in a third language is a strong advantage.
