The Role
Are you looking to start your career in customer service and logistics with a global industry leader? At Den Hartogh we’re looking for a motivated and enthusiastic
Customer Service Apprentice to join our Dry Bulk Team. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience within our Customer Service, Administration and Customs functions while developing the skills and knowledge needed to progress into a Customer Service Advisor role. You’ll work closely with experienced colleagues, support day-to-day transport activities, and learn how excellent service and operational coordination keep our business moving.

What you’ll be doing

As a Customer Service Apprentice, you'll support daily logistics and transport operations while developing valuable industry skills.

  • Support transport orders from customer request through to delivery;

  • Assist with customs administration and maintain accurate documentation;

  • Communicate with customers and internal teams to ensure excellent service;

  • Help resolve customer queries and support operational performance reporting;

  • Learn logistics, transport planning, and supply chain processes while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Throughout the apprenticeship, you'll gain hands-on experience in customer service, logistics operations, and supply chain management, providing a strong foundation for a career in logistics.
