About the Team
At Den Hartogh Logistics, you’ll join a team of committed finance professionals who go the extra mile, take ownership, and enjoy working together. Our Latin America Finance Team ensures accurate and compliant day-to-day finance operations across Brazil and collaborates closely with partners throughout Latin America. We work with a global mindset, combining precision, accountability, and a passion for continuous improvement. Our office in located in Barra Olímpica neighborhood in Rio de Janeiro.
About the Role
As a Finance & Accounting Analyst in our Rio de Janeiro office at Barra Olímpica, you will play a key role in safeguarding our financial accuracy, supporting business growth, and ensuring the smooth execution of local finance routines.
This is a great opportunity to apply your analytical mindset, deepen your financial expertise, and grow toward future leadership responsibilities within Den Hartogh. You will work on accounting activities, reporting, invoicing, collections, and administrative routines that keep our Brazilian operations running efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Execute accounting entries and financial routines in accordance with Brazilian GAAP and Den Hartogh standards;
Process invoices, monitor accounts receivable, and secure timely and accurate collections;
Prepare, analyse, and present financial reports and forecasts to support data-driven decision-making;
Ensure compliance with Brazilian accounting, tax, and regulatory requirements;
Coordinate with internal teams to identify cost-saving opportunities and enhance financial performance;
Support payroll and tax-related routines, ensuring accuracy and compliance;
Manage office administrative tasks such as document control, licensing, and audit support.
Job requirements
The ideal candidate
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Administration, Economics, or related fields;
Experience in finance or accounting plus certifications (CRC, CFA, CPA, CMA);
Strong knowledge of Brazilian accounting procedures, taxation, and compliance;
Advanced analytical abilities and confidence working with financial data;
Proficiency with accounting systems, financial tools, and MS Office (especially Excel);
Excellent communication skills for interaction with Brazilian and international customers;
Fluency in Portuguese and English; Spanish is an advantage.
