About the position

We are looking for an Inside Sales Associate to join our Nordic commercial team in Gothenburg on a fixed-term contract of 12 months, covering a parental leave. This position offers a strong opportunity for a junior professional or recent graduate to gain hands-on experience in commercial logistics and customer-facing sales support within an international organization. In this role, you will work closely with Sales, Customer Service, and Operations, supporting commercial activities and contributing to the development of competitive logistics solutions for customers across the Nordic region.

Job requirements

Your Responsibilites

  • Preparing quotations, pricing updates, and commercial documentation

  • Managing frequent customer interaction via email, Teams, and other digital channels

  • Maintaining and updating customer and sales data in Salesforce (CRM)

  • Supporting tenders, rate updates, and internal commercial coordination

  • Following up on customer requests and ongoing sales activities

  • Supporting analysis of pricing, volumes, and commercial data to enable fact-based decision-making

  • Gaining insight into Den Hartogh’s logistics solutions, routes, and operational setup

The successful candidate will

  • Have relevant education within supply chain, logistics, or business administration (requirement)

  • Be analytical, with the ability to work with data, pricing, and structured information

  • Gain energy from customer interaction and enjoys frequent communication with customers and new contacts

  • Be a team player with a clear customer-oriented mindset and strong communication skills

  • Be structured, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling both administrative and analytical tasks

  • Thrive in a social and dynamic environment and enjoys interacting with many different people

  • Be fluent in both Swedish & English

  • Be comfortable using Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerBI); experience or interest in CRM systems is a plus

  • Drivers license B is not mandatory yet an advantage

    Relevant education, analytical capability, and the right personality are essential to be a match for this position
