IT Specialist (Thailand, Bangkok)

Summary:
You will be part of the Den Hartogh IT Team but based in Thailand where you will be responsible for the IT operations and delivery of IT services to the region office.
This role will require you to have a wide breath of knowledge and experience in all IT system, from the workplace to the network including IT devices & servers
Working closely with APAC IT Manager you will assist all IT functions including supporting our IT Infrastructure, applications and involving in global projects to drive improvement to IT business processes

Main Responsibilities:

• Deploy and troubleshoot Windows 11 computers for our Thailand office

• Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers and scanners

• Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests

• Providing technical support across the company (this may be in person or over the phone/remotely)

• Liaise with Global IT in setting up accounts for new users

• Overseeing and determining timeframes for major IT projects including system updates, upgrades, migrations, and outages

• Running regular checks on network and data security

• Improving IT security infrastructure to accommodate business needs and growth

• Ensure that A/V equipment in office conference rooms is functional and up to date

• Follow and enforce policies established by the Global IT team

• Work with vendors to resolve things such as office internet connectivity or phone issues

• Designing training programs and workshops for staff

• Conducting regular system audits

• Supporting Transport Management System and assist in helping users’ escalation to TMS team or APAC IT Manager
  
  

Minimum requirement:

·         Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or a related field

·         Around 3 years of relevant experience providing IT Support, ideally in the logistic industry

·         Good command of written and spoken English

·         General IT knowledge (Backup, AntiVirus, Anti-malware, PCs)

·         Strong knowledge Workplace, Network and Infrastructure

·         Can work independently with minimal instruction on day-to-day work

·         Experience with Windows configurations & IT Project Management

·         Knowledge on any logistic or Transport Management System would be an added advantage
