This role is based in our Singapore office and reporting into the Operations Supervisor. He/She will be part of a fast-paced team coordinating operations activities, liaising with transporter on loading delivery and coordinating with customers to ensure smooth delivery of our shipments.

Key Responsibilities for Operations Executive

 

  • Organise and coordinate vessel schedule requirements and intended activities.

  • Coordinate operations activities, liaise with transporter on loading delivery and co-ordinate with customers to ensure smooth delivery of shipments.

  • To ensure the smooth facilitation and processing of customer’s shipments within required Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and timeframes without supervision

  • To provide full customer service support to allocated customers.

  • Handle region import & export shipment, working closely with local network partner for actual arrival and update in-house system

  • Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication.

  • Prepare shipping documentation accurately and timely

  • Complete all required file administration including documentation, billing, vendor invoices

  • Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution.

  • Perform ad-hoc assignments as and when required

Job requirements

  • Min 2 years of Experience in Freight Forwarding/Logistics/ISO tank industry is an advantage

  • Strong interpersonal skills; able to build relationship with people from different cultures

  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines through good time management and allocation of priorities and able to work in fast paced environment

  • A team player with initiative, willingness to learn and open to new challenges and responsibilities

  • Good knowledge of Incoterms

  • Proficient in MS office applications and savvy with new systems

  • Min. Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma
