Operations Specialist

Den Hartogh Logistics is a leading bulk Logistics Service Provider to the Chemical, Gas, Polymer and Dry Bulk Food industry. The Role

Plan / Manage / Monitor tank movement and liaise closely with network management team on tank planning.

Closely communicate and work with external vendors – Depots, Truckers and Surveyors.

Export

• Planning Tank Allocation according to customer’s requirement.

• Liaise with Vendors, Mainly depots, haulier on daily arrangement.

• Allocate tank number into system once customer confirm acceptance.

• Ensure tanks are planned and allocated with minimal down time.

• Create & Send release order to depots

• Create & Send trucking order to haulier, if for the door shipment.

• Monitor & update depot out date into system.

• Verify vendor’s cost invoice and update costs into system

• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively

• Perform ad-hoc assignments as and when required

Successful Candidates

Will have strong organizational skills, be an excellent communicator and eager to understand all aspects of our business. As the main point of contact for your customers, you will provide excellent customer service and have the desire to build relationships internally and externally. 

Furthermore, you will have:

• Min. 2 years experience in a similar role

• Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, chemicals or any related fields.

• Good command of English and Thai language (written and spoken)

• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines through good time management and allocation of priorities and able to work in fast paced environment

• A team player with initiative, willingness to learn and open to new challenges and responsibilities

• Meticulous and positive attitude

• Proficient in MS office applications

• Experience in Freight Forwarding/Logistics is an advantage
