About the Team

Den Hartogh Scandinavia has since the last couple of years been expanding rapidly, and we strive to continue this journey during the coming years. We have a growing team of drivers and a dedicated Planning Team supporting our activities in Sweden. For our Trucking Team we are looking for a Trucking Coordinator who will work closely with our operations team to maximize performance for the trucking operations. The position will be placed at our own terminal located in Stora Holm.

About the position

As a part of our trucking team you will be responsible for the daily management and legal compliance of the fleet supporting the Trucking Manager in the day to day operational needs of the business, providing a wide-ranging area of coordinating tasks. The role of Trucking Coordinator will be to support to achieve the best possible truck utilization within the set conditions, ensures that work is carried out in accordance with the rules, procedures and safety regulations, maintaining accurate records to ensure compliance with statutory regulations and internal processes etc. The tasks includes for example to be a point of contact for the drivers for operational questions, be supportive in maintenance and booking of repairs, coordinate together with mentor drivers the training plan of new drivers and ensure documentation is compliant for audit purposes.

Job requirements

The successful candidate will;

·         Have demonstrated expertise in the logistics sector, coupled with business acumen and economic insight.

·         Has good communication skills.

·         Is familiar with regulations and legislation within (road) transport in general

·         Have proficiency in Microsoft Office , with a particular emphasis on Excel for data analysis and reporting.

·         Be a collaborative team player who is adaptable, solutions-oriented, and proactive in taking initiative.

·         Be capable of working independently, with a strong ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.

·         Have excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to network and build rapport with ease.

·         Be clear and effective communicator, both verbally and in writing.

·         Be fluent in Swedish and English

·         Previous proven leadership experience is an advantage
