Trucking Manager Sweden

We are now looking for a dedicated Trucking Manager to strengthen our team in Gothenburg. 

As the Trucking Manager of Den Hartogh Sweden, you will be responsible for supporting all aspects of the transport function, from the day-to-day management, through to driving the operational strategy. Your passion, innovation and effective coaching skills will enable you to create a highly motivated, engaged team that are committed to the highest standards of safety, service, and compliance. Reporting to the operations manager, you will together with the drivers and the operations team ensure a cost-efficient implementation of our roadmap 2026-2030.

Your key responsibilities: 

• Lead the Swedish driver team of 25-30 drivers  

• Regular 1:1s and performance reviews 

• Driver safety and quality: enforce and implement Den Hartogh policies. 

• Participate and contribute in key meetings (safety, driver behaviour, operations). 

• Plan and organize driver training and toolbox talks 

• Optimize truck occupancy 

• Ensure cost efficient maintenance and repair 

We expect 

• 5+ years’ experience in road transports 

• Proven experience of people leadership with a hands-on mindset

• Familiar with relevant legislation and ADR regulations is desired  

• Structured, analytical and independent way of working

• Fluent Swedish and English

• Flexibility: occasional travel and availability for emergencies

• Drivers license B ‘
